Connect your cPanel credentials and we deploy the full VoiceBlog codebase to your server in one click — creating the database, uploading the files, configuring cron, and mapping your domain. You get the same product running on your own infrastructure for the same monthly price. Updates are opt-in: when we ship a new version, you get a "Update available" prompt with one-click apply.
Yes — VoiceBlog doesn't host email. We're the platform; you connect the email service. Starter captures subscribers on your site and lets you export them to CSV any time, so you can plug them into any external newsletter tool (ConvertKit, Beehiiv, Mailchimp, Substack, whatever). Pro and Studio connect a mailing server directly — Mailgun, SendGrid, Postmark, Amazon SES, or any SMTP host — and you can send announcements straight from VoiceBlog with full open / click tracking. You bring the credentials in Settings; we handle the templating, queuing, list cleaning, and IP warmup. You pay the email provider directly at cost.
Two reasons. First, every other tool marks up the AI providers 5–10× — your $20/mo subscription includes maybe $2 of actual AI compute. We'd rather charge you for the platform and let you pay providers directly.
